Shelly Bremmer's studio, now open
137 works, two series and seven collections from the Rhode Island artist, every one available as a print made to order.
Words by ARTHAUS

Shelly Bremmer is an artist from Rhode Island whose work runs on two tracks. One is geometric: dense, ruled compositions of rings, bars, arches and boxes that read like the inside of a jukebox or the playfield of a pinball machine. The other is fluid: fields of colour with no grid at all. This site gathers both, 137 works in all.
Two series
Retro Modern Harmony holds the geometric work, 106 pieces. Clouds of Color holds the fluid work, 31 pieces. They look like they come from two different studios, which is exactly why they are worth seeing side by side.

Seven collections
Inside the two series, the work is sorted by its colour: Full Spectrum, Hot Wiring, Pink Noise, After Dark and Blue Note in the geometric series, and In Bloom and Night Weather in the fluid one. If you know the colour you want on your wall, start there.
How the prints work
Every piece is available as a fine art print on archival matte paper, with a white border or full bleed, or as a framed print ready to hang. Prints are made when you order and ship in three to five days. The shop lists the sizes; the wall shows everything at once.
