About this work
Mottled shapes and overlapping colors
This image consists of irregular, mottled shapes and marks that spread across the entire surface. These forms overlap and blend together, creating a flat field of varying textures. A large, lighter area sits in the upper center of the composition, while the edges and corners are filled with more densely packed, darker clusters. The arrangement lacks a single central spot for the eye to rest, instead distributing interest across the whole area through different sizes and tones.
Bright red, orange, and light blue serve as the primary colors throughout the work. Within these larger sections, smaller patches of dark green, purple, and brown emerge. The shapes vary in their clarity, with some marks appearing as distinct spots and others merging into the surrounding colors. The overall effect is a dense collection of marks that fill the space from edge to edge without any text or lettering.
