Shelly Bremmer builds this modern abstract pattern using a grid of rectangular blocks that contain smaller geometric shapes. Large rectangles filled with stripes and triangles dominate the top and right side of the white background. The eye moves between these heavy structures and the smaller circles and squares that appear to float in the gaps or along the outer edges. The arrangement uses a consistent color scheme of purple, red, orange, and olive green across the entire composition.

A closer look reveals that many of the shapes are not solid colors. Instead, they have a mottled or textured look that contrasts with the straight lines of the grid. While the larger blocks are organized into a clear pattern, the smaller individual circles and squares are scattered more loosely. This creates a balance between the structured rectangular sections and the smaller, isolated shapes that sit between them.
