About this work
Diagonal repetition of geometric tiles
This geometric modern abstract pattern consists of sixteen squares organized into a four-by-four grid. Four specific tile designs repeat along diagonal lines, creating a sense of rhythmic order across the black background. Each square contains a centered arrangement of circles, triangles, and semicircles. The bright pink, purple, teal, and orange tones stand out against the dark backdrop, while the colors within the shapes show a mottled, textured finish rather than flat, solid fills.
A closer look at the individual tiles reveals how the shapes layer upon one another. Some circles are nested inside larger squares, while semicircles are placed to form symmetrical internal borders. Thin outlines in black or orange define the edges of certain forms, adding sharp detail to the composition. The consistent size of the tiles and the centered placement of the geometric elements give the entire work a balanced, uniform structure from top to bottom.
