Day Dreaming

This square image presents a dense arrangement of geometric shapes that cover the entire surface. Horizontal rows and vertical blocks organize the various circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles into a flat pattern. The composition lacks a single central spot for the eye to rest, instead spreading the viewer's attention across the whole frame. Bright pink, magenta, and teal tones stand out against olive green, white, and gold elements.

Two larger squares containing concentric circles anchor the middle-left and bottom-right areas of the work. Between these larger forms, smaller repeating details like dots and stripes fill the remaining spaces. The overhead perspective ensures that every shape, from the semicircles to the thin rectangles, appears on a single flat plane without any sense of depth. This arrangement follows the artist's description of a modern abstract pattern through its structured, repetitive use of form.
